This educational toolkit provides teachers with a number of ways to introduce children and young people in the post-primary school sector to the Unite against Hate campaign. The toolkit provides schools with resources for a Unite against Hate assembly and suggestions for follow up whole school activities alongside ideas for incorporating the campaign into a range of curriculum areas. In particular it provides teachers with specific guidance on how to integrate the campaign into the curriculum for Local and Global Citizenship. Finally it provides a detailed lesson plan and associated resources which aim to help young people explore the impact of hate crime on our society.
