Deputy Chief Constable Judith Gillespie presented certificates for the Policing in the Community Diversity in Action Award to the Unite against Hate campaign partners and team members in recognition to their contribution.
Since its launch the Unite against Hate campaign has gathered unprecedented momentum thanks to multi-agency response and the commitment of all agencies to work collaboratively. The campaign will continue to raise awareness of hate crime among the general public, draw attention to its negative impact on society, and to promote the benefits of a diverse population to Northern Ireland.
The campaign will be now represented at the national level of the Policing in the Community Awards in London in November.
