On Thursday, 3 March UNISON will be hosting conference addressing the needs and issues of people experiencing abuse in same sex relationships. Opening the Closet Door is a partnership initiative between LASI, Rainbow, the 24hr Domestic Violence helpline, Victim NI and Youth Action supported by the PSNI and the Domestic and Sexual Violence Unit in the DHSSPS.
The conference is aimed at professionals and service providers to put the issues and complexities of same sex relationship abuse on the radar to promote awareness and discussion and improve services and accessibility.
