Youth Unite ‘Tackling hate and promoting inclusion’ conference organised in partnership between Belfast City Council, Belfast Metropolitan College and Unite against Hate will take place on Monday, 20 June 2011 from 9.30am to 2.30pm at Belfast City Hall.
The aim of the conference is to gain a youth perspective on prejudice and hate crime; to explore how best to embrace and promote understanding, acceptance and meaningful diversity and to develop an action plan to provide recommendations to the relevant policy and practitioner groups.
The conference will involve a mixture of guest speakers, themed inputs, experimental learning and informed discussions. It will be of particular interest to those within the education, youth, training and practice arenas.
