Join Unite against Hate team to welcome in the Year of the Rabbit in St. George’s Market on Sunday, 6 February.
Chinese Welfare Association is hosting the 8th Annual Chinese New Year Festival in the market, which will be transformed into a bustling Chinese marketplace, including performances from China, Chinese Lion Dance, Chinese Master Chef competition, Chinese Food Carving Demonstration, Chinese Children’s Dress Competition, Samba, African music, workshops, craft stalls and much more.
Unite against Hate Ambassador Katie Larmour will host the event and for the first time, Belfast will welcome representatives from its twin city in China – Hefei Council and Hefei Cultural Bureau.
