Africa Week 2011 organised by the Afro-Community Support Organisation Northern Ireland (ACSONI) will take place in venues across Northern Ireland between 21 and 28 May 2011.
Africa Week is the biggest week of African and Caribbean celebrations involving various organisations, activities and programmes.
This Year ACSONI will echo the United Nations theme in the launch of 2011 as the designated ‘International Year for People of African Descent’. The theme of the week this year is Recognition, Justice and Development.
