A hate crime/incident is any crime/incident targeted at a person because of hostility or prejudice towards their:

  • Sexual orientation

  • Religion
  • Political Opinion
  • Disability
About Hate Crime
Hate Crime can take many forms and can include verbal abuse, physical assault, domestic abuse and damage to property.

Organisations are working hard across Northern Ireland to tackle hate crime and need your support in reporting hate crime and incidents. Please ensure all hate crime or incidents are reported whether you have been a victim, witness or are reporting on behalf of everyone else.
